The fourth team defeated Sentraal’s second team 20-5, the third team overcame the Bears second team 78-12 while the Highlanders second team saw off the Bears first team 38-5.
Andre ‘Swanie’ Swanepoel, Highlanders’ head coach, expressed his pride, saying: “we are very proud as a club to be fielding three teams on Saturday while 28 players were not available on Saturday.”
The Highlanders have now qualified for both the quarterfinals and the Murray Cup, which will be held in August.
