Hendrik van der Merwe (43) of Newcastle Oval started dirt track racing at the age of 17. He has since become a fan favorite, upholding Newcastle’s reputation by consistently bringing home national titles.
Dillin Clarke, a racing enthusiast, had a one-on-one interview with the legend himself, learning a little bit more about him.
