Local runners enjoy a sunny Saturday parkrun

Grey Goose parkrun is a free weekly 5km event for anyone that takes place every Saturday at 8:00 at Grey Goose Game lodge.

Enthusiastic athletes gathered in their numbers on Saturday to enjoy the weekly 5km parkrun at the Grey Goose Game Lodge.

Despite the exhausting heat, Dirk Botha and Wesley Chetty finished the track in 21 minutes and 32 seconds, followed by Pierre Janse van Vuuren in 21 minutes and 33 seconds, and Theunis Joubert in 23 minutes and 11 seconds.

Grey Goose parkrun is a free weekly 5km event for anyone that takes place every Saturday at 8:00 at Grey Goose Game lodge.

It is not a race against other runners, but rather a 5k timed run that can be anything you want it to be, whether for fun or as part of a training plan.

It provides an opportunity for the entire local community, regardless of age or gender, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy this beautiful park while also getting physically active.

The organizers want to encourage people of all abilities to run, jog, or walk together – this event is truly open to all and best of all, it is free!
