Local golfers flocked to the Newcastle golf course on Saturday for the much-anticipated Melos sponsored golf gay.
The warm weather was paired with water tables offering ice cold beverages at selected holes, which added to the celebratory moods.
Players completed the 18-hole course before gathering around the tables to enjoy a rewarding prize giving at Melos Pub and Grill.
Congratulations to following players:
Sheng- Po Tseng and Elred Darvall took first place with 51 points followed by Leon Rothman and Renier Terblanche in second place with 46 points.
Aspen Shaw and Joshua de Beer came in third with 45 points onco followed by Basie van Heerden and Christiaan Botha in fourth place with 45 points onco.
Norman Khumalo and Mandla Nkosi finished fifth on 44 points.
