Vryheid Angling Club fished their first league for the 2022 season at Klipfontein Dam.
The Vryheid region has three clubs, namely Vryheid Angling Club, SAPS Vryheid and Dagbreek Angling.
Between the three clubs, they have a total of 11 teams with six men in each team.
The day was nice and warm, with a moderate wind blowing. The Vryheid Tilapia team won the day, with the Vryheid Tigers team coming fifth, the Nemo team sixth, and the Ghielies team in ninth place.
