School principal, Jennifer Pillay said this was their major fund-raiser of the year, and the school was immensely grateful to the club and all sponsors who make the golf day a priority each year.

Apparently, one of the parents of a pupil at the school came up with the idea of a golf day a few years ago, as a way to give back to the school and show gratitude to the caregivers there.
