Newcastle Futsal League warms up winter nights

The winter chills do not deter players to take part in the Newcastle Futsol League

NEWCASTLE – The winter chills do not deter players to take part in the Newcastle Futsol League (NFL).

Competition for the RnB Motors Knock-out Cup resumed, and four games were played on May 29.

Al Ahly (previously known as Newcastle United) played against Africa FC.

Both teams fought hard for the vital three points, with lots if shots on target but no goals, and the game ended with a nil-all draw. The draw means that Africa FC goes to second position in Group B, and Al Ahly remains in fourth position.

The second game was played between Manchester United and Bayern Munich in the Group A division.

Manchester United fields a very young and inexperienced team compared to the star-studded Bayern Munich. Despite Manchester United’s inexperience, the game ended with a one-all draw,

The third game was between Esperanzi FC and Barcelona. Barcelona dominated the match, securing a five-nil victory.

The final game of the night was between Celtic Rangers and Wimbledon FC.

Wimbledon secured a four-one victory over Celtic Rangers.

The league continued on Sunday, when Manchester United thrashed Wimbledon FC with a seven-five score.

Manchester United now leads in first place in the Group A division.

Esperanzi FC then faced Africa FC. Although Africa FC dominated the first half, Esperanzi FC was victorious with a score of three-one.
