Dundee Hockey Club players shine at Country District Trials
In the evening, the A and B teams were announced at a function hosted at the Golf Club.
The Northern KZN hockey trials for the Country Districts Trials were held in Dundee on Friday.
In the evening, the A and B teams were announced at a function hosted at the Golf Club. The local players that made the Country Districts team were: A side players (men and women): Antony Rebeiro, Blessing Khumalo, Zandelee van Wyk, Jenni Robinson-Rosewall, Louise Rebeiro, Shameel Ayob, Leeroy Holmes, Larnelle Nero, Natasha Coetzee, Gavin Payne, Kyle Kelbrick, Chris Rosewall, Gareth Reeve and Devon Cherry.
Those who made the B side (men and women) included: Gaston de Chazal, Kevin Jacobs, Marike Lauwrens, Marelie Devereux, Sanele Matiwane, Andile Ntshangase. This was an obvious show of strength from our local hockey players!
