27-year-old Mandy Nduli has been appointed as an Assistant State Attorney

The newest Assistant State Attorney hails from Estcourt; 27-year-old daughter to Reverend Kwazi Nduli – Mandy Malinda Nduli.

The God-fearing, yet bubbly woman attended ML Sultan Estcourt Primary School and thereafter matriculated at Drakensberg Secondary School in 2008.

She went on to study a Bachelor of Arts in Psychological, Political Science and Law (PPL), at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN).

After completing her PPL in 2011, she graduated in 2013 from her Literally Legum Baccalaureus (LLB).
The following year she served articles with Legal Aid South Africa in Newcastle and finished off in 2016. Ms Nduli then completed a certificate in forensics and investigation auditing in 2018.

Thereafter she was employed at a private law firm in Vryheid. Her latest job offer has her dad extremely proud – Miss Nduli was recently accepted at the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development as an Assistant State Attorney in Mafikeng.

“The job entails me representing the interests of the state in legal proceedings,” she explained.

Believe it or not, her love for law began with Miss Nduli being fascinated by the black robe while in high school. From that grew a strong love for law, a love for research and studying it.

“To this day, my love for law continues to grow, so does a love for what I do for a living. There is a lot more to learn now as I’ll be working with the ‘big shots’ but I am up for it,” she told with a chuckle.

Her appointment will be effective from March 1. One of her most interesting cases thus far was representing 87 clients on various public violations in a taxi violence case.

If you have hopes of one day following in Miss Nduli’s footsteps here is her advice: “Have a dream, and don’t just dream it, work towards it! Remember everything and anything is possible if you put your mind to it.”
The lass who describes herself as ‘passionate, goal driven and hardworking’ aims to fly the Estcourt flag higher in the law fraternity.

As of March, Estcourt’s Mandy Nduli will be appointed Assistant State Attorney for the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development.
