The Al Jama-ah Party sends heartfelt condolences to the three workers who passed away on October 1 in Cornfields when their minibus was hit by a train while crossing the railway.

This is one of the saddest and most unfortunate incidents, which should never repeat itself.

We send our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, and we further wish a speedy recovery to those who were injured.

The rate of deaths in Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality is alarming, and calls for urgent religious and materialistic intervention.

We can’t continue losing lives as if they don’t matter.

This is becoming the norm – if people are not fatally shot, they are involved in fatal accidents.

We believe it’s high time that we visit our conscience and call for urgent intervention.
