It is with profound shock and sadness that today we mourn the untimely demise of our colleague and friend, Superintendent Zamikhaya Goodwill Nyoka. Superintendent Nyoka and his loving wife, Khanyisile (umaZwane), responded to their eternal calling on Saturday, August 22, under very unfortunate circumstances. Mr Nyoka was a friendly, hardworking and loyal member of the municipal management team in the Traffic Department. He was a gentle but firm team leader among his colleagues. He will be sadly missed by all of us at AbaQulusi Municipality.

His quiet power of persuasion was his strength; ever so punctual and dedicated. He loved his duties. On behalf of Hon Mayor MC Maphisa, the Executive Council, the entire Council, Administrator Mr SW Mkhize and all the employees of AbaQulusi, I convey a message of deep condolence to the children on the loss of their parents, and the Nyoka and Zwane families on the tragic loss of their son and daughter.
Both these colleagues chose a life of servitude and served the people of our region, our province and our country all their adult lives. For that, we honour them as we bid them farewell.
May their souls rest in perfect and eternal peace.
