[LETTER] Dark days are ahead so we should cherish good news

Madam – In these dark days, with the promise of more Covid-19 infected persons and an increase in deaths, any good news is to be grasped with both hands and relished.

The other factor being high oil demand worldwide, which means the oil producers can jack the competitive price per barrel. Since oil demand is so low now, the price has plummeted and we had a near two rand drop per litre last night.

Great! Cheaper petrol and nowhere to go! There is an irony somewhere in this situation. Beats me though.
