Sir – In the past we have been very proud of Endumeni Municipality’s Christmas lights that helped to bring a little light and joy into our lives. It made one proud to show off these impressive lights to visitors who stopped over during the holiday break.
Therefore I was left aghast when I realised that this year not a single light was put up in the town. Newcastle and Ladysmith made an effort and while Dundee could be looking at cost cutting.
I am sure just a few jolly lights would not make such a difference to the budget. Come on, guys, let’s bring some joy back to our town.
