[LETTER] Government must take action against incompetence

'Surely our government should put the well being of our country and its citizens first...'

Madam – Is it not suitable time that our government recognised the shortcomings of some of their present employees who are admirably mismanaging parastatel organisations, and replaced them with more suitably competent and qualified individuals?

This person can be an Eskimo, a Martian or someone from the moon – but a competent person please. It appears that regardless of qualification, which may or may not be genuine, and by virtue of their allegiances they are placed in these positions which demand competency and absolute trustworthiness.

What a mistake!

All that happens is that their incompetency comes to the fore while they smilingly rob the country blind. Surely our government should put the well being of our country and its citizens first, after all you were voted in because of your pre-election promises to make this a better place for us all.
