If you’re gona brag, at least back it up with video evidence

Have you ever bragged about getting into a fight before?

Gone are (Gona) the days when you could brag about getting into a fight with a person double your size and winning.
Gone are (Gona) the days when you could say, ‘I finished him and left him.’
Gone are (Gona) the days when you can choon all your connections how you run the street.

Gona is also short for Gonalutchmee, the Indian grandmother who became an overnight internet sensation for all the wrong reasons. Gonalutchmee, or Cookie Aunty as she is now humorously referred too, was filmed during a brawl between two families on Isipingo beach.
Cookie Aunty can be seen in the video flashing her cookie at the rival family, while hurling insults and sand at them. Cookie Aunty has denied this though, and claims she was just wiping sand away that had fallen down her pants. A believable story indeed…not.
Sadly for Cookie Aunty, video doesn’t lie.

We have entered an age where there’s always someone with a video camera and that spells trouble for all those who brag about how they fared in a fight.
We’ve all heard the Monday stories before of a weekend brawl, but the person telling the story, always seems to exaggerate.

“You should have seen me this weekend.
“This one bra was floeking me so I slaaned him one time and he collapsed. The ouens had to hold me back else I would have finished him and left him.”

Those were the days before people videoed every altercation they see. Now, we can call up a VAR replay and see that it was either you catching the hiding or running away, or that you never got into a fight in the first place. Gone are (Gona) the days of bragging without backing it up. Now you have to make sure that when you talk a big game, the video evidence doesn’t lie. You don’t want to be like that one laaitie in the beach brawl video who ran his mouth, collected one tight klap and then ran away. Also, if you’re going to get caught on camera first and then come up with a story later, make sure you have a better excuse than Cookie Aunty.

She should have just said she was collecting sea shells, we might have believed her more.
