League urgently needs cash and warm blankets

There are adorable Boerboel-cross puppies up for adoption this week, as well as playful cats and kittens

The Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) urgently needs warm blankets for their animals at the kennels. If you want to donate, then please contact the league today.

There are adorable Boerboel-cross puppies up for adoption this week, as well as playful cats and kittens. If you are interested in adopting, contact Annamarie Koen on 076-151-1784 or visit the league premises on the N11 just before the Limit Hill robots.

The AACL would like to make the community aware that their working hours are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, and 8am to 1pm on Saturday (the kennels are closed on Sundays).

An appeal is made to the community to please not chain up their dogs. This is illegal and offenders will be fined and / or charged if they are found to be doing so.

A special thank you to Pierre Massyn, Spar and Meat Munchers for their kind donation towards the league.

The AACL Golf/Bowls Day will take place on Saturday, June 10, so please support this worthy cause.

The league desperately needs cash. If you want to contribute, then you can make a deposit into their bank account. The details are: Nedbank, Ladysmith, Cheque Account: 1330077512, Branch Code: 1330.
