Social cohesion in South Africa

Social cohesion does not apply to one race, social cohesion is about all races coming together and working out their differences

We cannot stop talking to each other, or that could lead to a major breakdown in communication. What is social cohesion and who is responsible to lead this programme? 1994 was the time and the government should have been tasked to bring people together and talk to heal from past experiences.

Social cohesion does not apply to one race, social cohesion is about all races coming together and working out their differences.
Who should be responsible for this?

Government of the day, ask yourselves, is there any program that is in place to bring all South Africans together and talk to heal? No, no, no. Our past is not told as it should be. We need to be truthful with each other.

We have to correct the past, there is no strength without unity and a divided country will fall. Black empowerment and affirmative action was good but it was a must to include classified coloured people as pure Africans. That was also a disadvantage as people were left out. How do you bring unity when people are excluded?

I feel the time is now to unite before we need our unity to overcome opposition. Government must include classified coloured/Khoisan people in black empowerment and affirmative action or else it won’t go well. You cannot, as a government, deny development to other African who carries a rich history that cannot be wiped out.

Employment is a need for any disadvantaged person anywhere in the world. This employment weapon has been opposed for the classified coloured/Khoisan people. 1994 was a nightmare to those people after they fought the struggle and after they formed the African National Congress and resisted the apartheid regime.

Now 22 years down the line, these people are not in the workplace. Every right these people had was taken away. Could one say that this democracy brought evil to these people? How could one lie and get away with these kinds of lies? Let us bring this country together, but based on truth.
