Madam – I am sick an tired of going to stores, parking my car in a parking bay and then coming out to find my poor little car cornered by a SUV that resembles an army tank on one side and a 4X4 on the other side.
Not only do the drivers of these massive machines usually park at an angle, but it is a mission trying to get out of the parking bay.
I am not sure if other motorists have the same issue, but if you have a regular sedan, you cannot see if there is oncoming traffic if you are parked between two bakkies or a SUV.
I really believe that shopping complexes should look into allocating parking bays according to a vehicle’s size.
As trivial as this might sound, it would really make peoples lives easier, especially now with the holiday season upon us and malls being filled to capacity with cars.
Parking bays should also be made for motorbikes and scooters, as there is nothing more annoying than when you are about to pull into a space and see some little crotch rocket taking up a space which would be more suited for your car.
