Editor – The killers of Comrade Khanyisile Ngobese-Sibisi will receive their just desserts. My question to the community is: Why oh why do we remain silent when such killers stalk our areas? What is the price of a human life really?
Is it your name on a ballot box or the monthly cheque council pays you? I ask this because no one is fooled; the men arrested for her murder are but hired guns who did the bidding of those in power. Was Khanyisile Ngobese-Sibisi such a threat to those in power that her death was the only answer?
How many pieces of silver do they need to take as they betray us? Just as Judas betrayed the Lord, let their guilt eat at their souls.
Let them find no rest with their newfound wealth.
A woman died; a comrade who cared for the poor and stood up for the rights of others. You may have silenced her, but be sure that God can see all and He will find a way to make you pay.
The hired guns have fallen and now the Hawks must hunt those who paid them to kill our beloved comrade.
