Time to deliver on your promises

It is time to get the cleaning staff out, with bags to pick up ALL the refuse

Seeing that the Mayor and councillors have promised to deliver services, let us tackle street by street. The picture in this article is taken in Roland Hellet Road, in the municipal areas. On Saturday, we saw a baby buck in this area.  The mess that these animals have to deal with in their area is disgusting.

It is time to get the cleaning staff out, with bags to pick up ALL the refuse. At the same time, issue the occupants of all those houses letters to inform them that they need to place their refuse into bags and put them outside THEIR own homes for collection. I am calling on all of Estcourt to take control of their residential areas by taking photos and submitting them to this paper with a location.

We need to hold our management accountable. Let us go public because sending private emails is a waste of time. We would like email addresses published for our relevant sources. Communication is vital in this service delivery process.  Let us use the media to make ourselves heard .Enough talking now, time for action. Let us do it and clean Estcourt up.
