Congratulations to the winning political party

May God bless and assist our leaders in ensuring that they can assist many people by their actions

This year has proven to be the first of a diversified democratic South African election. Competition is a very good thing. The customer/people always benefit. I am sure now that it is more apparent than ever that each and every vote counts.

For those who are not yet registered, it’s about time you stop being an armchair critic and get on board. When you want service delivery, vote for a party who will deliver that for you. We have seen many big changes in Estcourt recently, a brand new rank, new tarred roads and we also seen disappointed residents who have to duck potholes when going down Bangladesh.

Businesses have to now face competition with traders on the street. Yet these businesses have to pay licenses, rent/rates and other expenses.

The most important aspect that I am sure many people are waiting on is some finality on the water problem. These are but a few of the on-going problems that Estcourt business/residents need addressed.

Mahatma Ghandi said: “Be the change you want to see in the world.”

Again, congratulations on your tenure. May God bless and assist our leaders in ensuring that they can assist many people by their actions.
