The Recruitment Guy would like to reply

I would like to take this opportunity to respond to Roxy and cast a beacon of light on her dark situation.

Madam –

[Two weeks ago], I read the letter published by “Roxy” concerning her plight regarding her numerous employment applications without a single reply (“A reply would be nice”).

I would like to take this opportunity to respond to Roxy and cast a beacon of light on her dark situation.

Being at the coal face of the recruitment industry for over a decade, and hearing Roxy’s story filled with frustration and disappointment,

I would like to offer my professional recruitment services and industry experience to her and her family.

Perhaps you would kindly put me in direct contact with her so as to discuss her unfortunate circumstance.

In fact “The Recruitment Guy would like to reply”.

I would like to go back to basics with their applications and discuss their approach to the local employment market.

I would like to peruse the contents, the quality and the information displayed in their personal CVs.

I would appreciate the opportunity to understand who she/they exactly are and what unique skills and experience they bring to our local community.

I am confident that together, we will be able to produce a quality CV that will get the attention of the desired advertisements et cetera, or catch the eye of the relevant decision maker.

The sad truth is that for every vacancy advertised, the application/response rate is approximately 1500 desperate applicants seeking that “elusive reply”, that’s a 0.06 percent chance of being selected for an interview. I would appreciate the opportunity to at least attempt to increase those odds.

Through a variety of mediums we will be able to increase her search area/scope and hopefully expose her and her family to more opportunities to be considered for.

I can’t make promises that it will be a perfect success. I can’t help everyone, but she did stand up and made an effort through the medium of this publication for assistance.

After reading her letter, I would appreciate the opportunity to try and make a difference and increase their odds in the ever increasing unemployment market.

Sometimes a different set of eyes is required, or a change of approach or even just a some positive motivation is needed to fill those sails to success.
