Some schools close early, some don’t… I wonder why?

Does the education check up on naughty schools? Or is it just everyone for themselves?

Sir
I have a couple of questions regarding schools. The official closing for schools is Wednesday, December 9 – in KZN, anyway. However, some local schools shut-shop as early as November 20 and sent their kids home.
Some schools have put up tents on their premises and are using these for church events.
Are these schools making an income from this? Some schools, highly visible from the main road, look terrible.
Their sports fields are not maintained and the soccer/rugby posts appear to pose a danger.
But the schools are closed. Maintenance? Foreign word?
I know some schools – high schools – are marking centres for matric papers and have to be closed to allow the marking to go ahead. That is fine as this represents an income for the school.
Teachers should be aware that these days, in most homes both parents have to work to make ends meet and have to rely on others to care for their children when these schools randomly close.
Thank goodness some schools go on to the bitter end, December 9. Some say the schools simply close as taxis do not want to ferry kids for just a few days in a new month.
Well, if greed is the case, close all schools every year on November 30 and re-open on the first Wednesday in January then all parents will know exactly what to expect.
