Another weekend, another party, another mess

'All the good intentions of the Municipality about applying by-laws are non-existent.'

Sir
Another weekend, another party in the park and another mess – but this time with a twist. Sunday morning calm was disrupted by drag-racing and spinning in Coronation Park. All the good intentions of the Municipality about applying by-laws are non-existent. The signs, where all the rules of the park are written, (no littering, no fires, no noise etc.) are just that – a sign.
No one cares, no one considers the neighbours who pay huge rates to the municipality to fund all the municipal parties and other waste. We sit and suffer as the party-goers just leave when they are drunk enough and the KFC has run out.
Do not be surprised if, like the students, residents launch their own campaign: #bringpeacebacktoourparks.
Grin and bear it
