Appreciative reader says thanks and keep it up

WELL DONE CHAPS for the speedy repair of the problem - whatever it was - it was a joy to hear the water come on again

Please my I use the paper to just write a little letter of thanks? I would like to reply to the person who complained about the rubbish removal truck staff leaving rubbish that had broken out of the bags on the pavement.

Could I ask what has happened to the bakkie that used to come behind the removal truck and used to pick up those spills and the other “stuff” that was left behind by the truck? And also – is it not maybe that most of us are using bags that are really flimsy and that is the cause of the spills? Then kudos to the electrical department for having arranged with the factories that have made it possible that Estcourt has not had any “load shedding” and I think maybe will not have because as a town, the factories and the people are working together to “keep us alight”.

Thank you and well done. And the wake of that we had the water problem! What a nightmare – but most of us have forgot that we used to have to get our water elsewhere and also that we had to make fires to get hot water, but be that as it may – WELL DONE CHAPS for the speedy repair of the problem – whatever it was – it was a joy to hear the water come on again.

Thank you and well done. But one last item – when is Wembezi C-Section going to get water? The water stopped on Thursday, June 4 (I think) and has yet to be sorted out. I am in charge of a crèche in the area and have 220 little ones and 15 plus teachers and it is very difficult to run the crèche and have to get water from all over.

Because we are now paying such a shocking amount for water people are not too happy to assist and give us water to cart to the crèche.
That is what has been happening. We have been taking containers of water to the school so that we can at least keep going.

Yes, we do have “Jojo” tanks but there was such a little rain this last season that the tanks are not very full and then we have also got to use that water. PLEASE could something be done and we get water in C-Section? Thank you and keep up the good work.
