Editor – I am speaking on behalf of my family and I. We attended this year’s Ladysmith Show and we enjoyed it – the variety of stalls inside and outside the hall, with everybody’s needs taken care of.
I have been to many shows outside of Ladysmith and the Ladysmith Show takes the cake. The funfair provides spectacular entertainment for the kids. I even saw adults going on the rides and also enjoying it.
People of Ladysmith are always quick to say that Ladysmith has no entertainment, but the Ladysmith Show provides all the entertainment one needs – yet the people still complain.
Where else would you get to pay R40 to see entertainers from around South Africa providing world-class entertainment?
On Saturday, the Tansen Nepaul singers and ‘Oriental Fire’ dancers, and even Hussain Valley (who are all known worldwide) and the DJs, provided excellent musical entertainment right here in Ladysmith.
For all those who complain about the Ladysmith Show, think again! Where else in Ladysmith will you get entertainment like what was on offer at this year’s show?
This Ladysmith Show was a hit and I loved it, no matter what others may have thought.
