Fresh Take – Aspire to inspire

We all have a dream, but the difference is how we realise our dream, how we obtain our dream, and how our dream changes us

“Faith is love taking the form of aspiration,” William Ellery Channing.
Sometime last week I was asked, what are my aspirations in life. The definition of aspiration is the hope of achieving something. A dream or dreams for the future and a plan to make those dreams a reality. The first word that came to mind was happiness. And I continued to say, “my greatest aspiration in life is to see myself in the light of beauty as the true person that I am, potential, talent…”
Due to bad timing I could not stay long, to continue with what I would have liked to share. “… That I’d like to maintain good health, etc.”
And for some silly reason thereafter I thought I could have lied, after all to some extent it was a stranger asking. I could have said something untrue… like I want to have power or be rich and famous. What did it mean for this person to want to know? After some thought, I realised some people may aspire to make it through yet another day.
Personal aspiration
My aspiration is to have a fulfilling life where I have been able to travel across the world and experience peoples and cultures. A life full of learning and knowledge, which I have used to makes others lives better. I want to achieve most of my dreams while simultaneously earning the respect of the people around me. Have you thought about your personal, professional and financial aspirations? Professionally would you like to help the not so privileged?

Will you realise which business field you passionate about. Do you want to earn great reputation and expertise while helping companies break boundaries across the globe? Will you think as far as helping the unemployable educated and give them a chance to prove their skill to end the talent shortage that we are going to face in the future? Financially would you like your family to have a comfortable life in the future? Would like to earn enough to reach a stage where you can start your own business venture without feeling any financial pressures?
Believe in yourself even when no one else does; believe in your aspirations even when no one else thinks they possible. I have a dream… you have a dream… our nation has a dream… our world has a dream. We all have a dream, but the difference is how we realise our dream, how we obtain our dream, and how our dream changes us. A wise man once said, “Aspire to inspire before you expire.”
