Thank you Newcastle Advertiser for the above information. However to these girls we say: Young ladies, “wake up and see the daisies!”
You were missing but thanks to our newspaper report and many prayers you are now found unharmed. We thank God you were not molested – and you could have been!
Why, oh why did you precious daisies [did that] to your school teachers and family, also the public, to put us through this uncalled for stress?
Your school teachers and family possibly went through deprivation and sacrifice to give you an education and a home. Please, you are lovely daisies but with actions like this you could well become unwanted weeds.
