Sir,
It is such a pleasure for me to have this opportunity to dedicate this letter to a mentor and superhero, the Chaplain of the KZN Premier’s Office: a man of God and a son of the Almighty Lord – Dr Bishop TN Xaba.
Knowing him is such a blessing. During difficult times he’s always with me to comfort me, because he is God’s messenger. Allow him to come and sit with you and discuss with him whatever problem you have. He, as God’s son, has the answers. I deeply appreciate all that he has done for me, while I’ve been in dark places after friends and family have disappeared, but he is always with me!
Today I’m strong and I have learnt a lot from you, Bishop Xaba. That is why I wrote this letter. You are my superhero, and I am proud to say that I have this good story to tell. You are a healer – emotionally and spiritually.
To the youth out there, this is my message to you today: Please don’t do crime, it does not pay. I am speaking from experience – there is no life in jail. Today I am living the life I never planned to live, and because I did wrong in God’s eyes I ended up in jail. I wish I had listened to the elders.
To my brothers, my sisters, and my friends outside, I repeat again: don’t do crime, it does not pay – instead it ruins your life!
From today, if you have any problems, don’t hesitate to contact Bishop Xaba for help. He will pray for you, and he will be your mentor too.
As South African citizens, let’s go and vote on May 7 and put our mark down for the party we want to elect, and have a wonderful Voting Day.
To my mentor and superhero, the honourable Bishop Xaba: I salute you in the Name of Jesus Christ; may God bless you and your entire family, you are my hero. Thank you.
