Newcastle Women’s Health Group celebrates International Yoga Day

The Newcastle Women’s Health Group came together at the Ramakrishna Centre in Lennoxton on Wednesday, June 21, to celebrate International Yoga Day.

Yoga instructor, Malthi Singh, said group members were encouraged to ‘bring a friend’ in an attempt to promote yoga among the community.

Singh expressed her delight in the day’s turnout and hoped that more people would join the sessions to  reap the health benefits that yoga has to offer.

The Women’s Health Group gets together every Tuesday and Thursday at 15:00 at the Lennoxton Library.
