NEWCASTLE KZN: From sport to shopping, there’s plenty to do this weekend

There is plenty to do in Newcastle this weekend.

There’s no excuse to be stuck in the house this weekend!

November 6 – The Champ Group of Companies will be hosting a golf day at the Newcastle Golf Club from 9am. Players stand a chance to win prizes worth more than R1-Million!

Format of play is Better Ball Alliance, Scramble Drive. Scores to be counted on Par 3 and 5, with a shotgun start. Registration into the competition starts at 8am.

Hole-in-one prizes include an Isuzu D-max 250 X-Rider for Hole 5, a Honda WRV 1.2 on Hole 14 and R150 000 on Hole 16. There are lots of other prizes on offer.

For R250 per player, you will also get a goodie bag, cap, 9 waterholes, supper, prizes and green fees. Prize-giving is at 18:00 – don’t miss out!

November 6 – If you’re looking for delectable food, a family-friendly environment and wonderful entertainment, head over to the Arbor Park Sports Ground, at the Newcastle Highlanders Rugby Club from 3pm.

The Arbor Park Lifestyle Market will be holding a ‘Night Market’ from 15:00 to 20:00. Bring the whole family and enjoy a relaxing afternoon and evening out, and use the opportunity to pick up some local Christmas gifts for your loved ones!
