Vryheid High School’s newly-elected leaders go on camp

The camp also served as an opportunity to evaluate the leadership potential of the head boy and head girl candidates

The newly-elected student leaders at Vryheid High School (VHS) recently attended a prefect camp at Babanango from October 11 to 13, accompanied by Mr Scholtz. The camp aimed to foster team-building and assess leadership qualities among those aspiring to be head boy and head girl.
It was an ideal platform to bond and develop essential skills. Through various activities and exercises, the participants finely honed their communication, problem-solving and collaboration skills.
The camp also served as an opportunity to evaluate the leadership potential of the head boy and head girl candidates. When you read this article, the eagerly anticipated announcement of the head boy and head girl will have taken place at the academic prize-giving ceremony on Tuesday (October 15). This event recognises academic excellence and outstanding achievements among VHS learners.
