Thrilling action at VHS 7s Rugby Tournament

The tournament provided a platform for young rugby players to showcase their talents

The Vryheid High School (VHS) 7s Rugby Tournament took place on Friday and Saturday, bringing together nine schools from KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga for an exciting display of sporting skills. The participating schools were VHS, Amajuba High School, Newcastle High School, Ondini, Pongola High School, Pionier Hoërskool, Ferrum High School, Volksrust High School and Sarel Cilliers High School.
The tournament saw fierce competition in both the under 15 and under 17 age groups, with each team battling it out for top honours. In the end, the Sarel Cilliers team emerged victorious in the U/15 category, while Ferrum took top spot in the U/17 category.
The tournament provided a platform for young rugby players to showcase their talents, and the future of rugby looks bright based on the skills displayed over the two days. Congratulations to the winning teams and all the participants on a successful tournament.
