Volksrust High School recently boasted with their top academics achievers for the second term. They were as follows:
Grade 8:
Masana Shivambu, Tyron Visser, Fezeka Ntuli, Johannes Groenewald, Sipho Nkomo, Samkelisiwe Magubane, Simphiwe Seme, Anele Banda, Rita-Marie Steyn and Thlalefo Sehlako.
Grade 9:
Mia Cronje, Summer Gordon, Yoridanos Manito, Rofhiwa Mawela, Imaan Moola, Ayesha Badat, Marlize V. D. Merwe, Ziyanda Maboea, Zaid Chothia and Nomadlozi Ngwenya.
Grade 10:
Danel De Jager, Sinehlanhla Nombewu, Muhammad Moola, Nico Nel, Carla Viviers, Aphenhle Msibi, Lebogang Nkwane, Nila Deacon, Jaydine Koekemoer and Clyde Hutchison.
Grade 11:
