New term opens with extravagance at VHS

The Grade 12 learners also played a vital role in ensuring that their farewell was elegant and enjoyable

From the walk-in, to the main ceremony, the food and the dance floor, the Vryheid High School (VHS) matric ball was filled with great extravagance and excitement! A matric farewell is a once-in-a-lifetime event and thus should be well prepared for. In this case, VHS displayed commendable preparation skills to make sure that the matric ball was outstanding. The Grade 12 learners also played a vital role in ensuring that their farewell was elegant and enjoyable. Luxurious cars were seen at the entrance and lavish outfits were worn by the matrics.
Subsequent to the matric farewell, VHS staff members and the community of Vryheid at large enjoyed an exquisite dance at the school on Saturday. A mouth-watering spit braai was enjoyed by all who were present. Hidden talents were revealed, as the staff and community members took to the dance floor. It was really amazing to see everyone get together, party together and have fun together. This event was a great success and VHS is sure that it will become an annual one.
