St Dominics Newcastle celebrates outstanding achievements in science

St Dominics Newcastle proudly recognises and celebrates the remarkable achievements of our young talents, Husna Docrat and Hamzah Ismail, at the recent prestigious Eskom International Science Fair (ISF) awards ceremony.

In a highly competitive arena featuring 35 regions from across the nation, Husna and Hamzah stood out, being recognised as some of the best budding scientists in the entire country.

Their exceptional abilities and dedication to scientific exploration have rightfully earned them this prestigious recognition.

Husna showcased her brilliance by clinching victory in the Senior and Biochemistry categories, ultimately being awarded a dazzling Gold medal for her exemplary efforts.

Complementing this achievement, Hamzah triumphed by securing the 1st prize in the South African Institute of Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering division, proudly wearing a shimmering Silver medal – a testament to his prowess and dedication to his craft.
