Ukuthula Crèche has fun at Town Library
The young ones learnt about the importance of reading and had lots of fun on their excursion
‘Cultivating lives by reading’ was the aim when the little ones from Ukuthula Crèche visited the Estcourt Town Library on Wednesday (September 20).
“Each year, we try and bring the children to town from Wembezi so they can see the sights,” said Mrs du Plessis from the crèche.

Du Plessis added that the ladies at the library accommodated them wonderfully, giving each child a snack and a gift, as well as teaching them how to take care of books.
The message was that reading is recommended for young children so they will grow up loving education and thereby improve their minds and general knowledge for a brighter future.
