Educational outing for learners in Loskop
It was a day for education coupled with fun
The Grade 2 learners and teachers at Phumelelani Primary School took off on an educational adventure recently. The first stop was at the Bata shoe factory, where the learners had an opportunity to learn how the very shoes they wear are manufactured.
The second adventure was at Loskop public library.
The ‘future leaders’ had the opportunity to learn about how a library works, for example setting up books (fiction and non-fiction), understanding the importance of reading, and most importantly being introduced to having a love for reading.
Much appreciation goes to the parents for making this adventure a success.
