Career guidance for Grade 9 and 11 learners

The Grade 9 and 11 learners took part in a Genius Career Choices programme, as most of the learners in these grades struggle to understand the journey of choosing subjects and meeting the requirements of tertiary education institutions.

Busekhaya High School learners were visited by an organisation called ‘World of Truth’ on Friday morning, together with Zakhele Foundation area manager Bonga Dlamini.

The Grade 9 and 11 learners took part in a Genius Career Choices programme, as most of the learners in these grades struggle to understand the journey of choosing subjects and meeting the requirements of tertiary education institutions.

World of Truth organisation director Mvelo Mngoma and Bonga Dlamini explained new dynamics in the workplace and the easiest ways to obtain career information. The day was a success, as the children listened attentively and took down notes that will help them choose their careers wisely in the future.
