Learners taught about road safety

Mr Mgoza educated the learners about the rules they need to follow when crossing the road, while the paramedics carried out a ‘mock accident scene’.

KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service, along with the Traffic and Fire Department, visited Besterspruit Primary School last week. They were there to teach the learners about road safety rules and what happens when people have been involved in an accident. Mr Mgoza educated the learners about the rules they need to follow when crossing the road, while the paramedics carried out a ‘mock accident scene’. The children took the lessons to heart and the principal thanked the members for their time. The school once lost a learner in a motor vehicle accident.
