Mayor hands over new hall

It was also suggested that a security guard be hired to keep an eye on the hall to avoid stealing and breaking the windows

Inkosi Langalibalelele Local Municipality Mayor Mduduzi Myeza officially handed over the newly-built Mahlubi-Mangwe Community Hall at an event held in the area yesterday (October 1).

The mayor was accompanied by Speaker SW Khumalo and other councillors.

It is said that this community hall will help the residents and the municipality to host meetings and other functions. The community would previously hold meetings under a tree.

Commenting after the handover, the mayor said, “This is a high-standard hall because of its size. The community never had a hall before. I remember that when we visited this area, we had to hold the meeting under a tree, but today that’s all over. People will now be able to host meetings in this big hall.”
