Dogs await their ‘forever homes’

The Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) is issuing a heartfelt appeal to the community to open their hearts and homes to the many dogs awaiting adoption at the kennels.

The league, dedicated to protecting and caring for animals in need, is struggling to keep up with the influx of abandoned and neglected dogs. “We have so many loving dogs eager to find their forever families,” said animal inspector Pauline Lennon. “They deserve a second chance at happiness and we need the community’s help to make that happen.”

Beyond adoption, the league relies heavily on donations to sustain its operations. “Without the community’s generosity, we wouldn’t be able to keep our doors open,” emphasised Lennon.

Essential items such as pet food are urgently needed.

The AACL extends its gratitude to the community for their ongoing support. “We’re grateful for every donation, big or small,” said Lennon. “Your kindness is the lifeline that keeps us going.”
