Zona Zulu – a rising star in pageantry

At only 11 years old, Zona Zulu has become a local household name in the world of pageantry.

Zona joined the modelling scene in March 2023 and has made it her mission to be recognised as a fierce competitor and a force to be reckoned with – collecting crowns that showcase her intelligence, charm, and confidence on stage.

Her impressive journey has already included numerous pageants, where she has consistently shone and caught the eye of the judges each time.

  • In October 2023, she earned the title of Second Princess in the 10–12 age category at Miss Wonder Women.
  • In December 2023, she competed in Miss Memel and was crowned Queen, and later in December, she competed in Miss and Mr.
  • Madadeni and was placed as the First Princess in the same category. By April 2024, she had earned the title of Second Princess at the Miss

  • Her achievements continued as she spread her wings in June 2024, securing the position of Second Princess in the Junior Teens category at Miss KwaZulu Natal in Ballito.

Zona’s next big challenge is the national pageant—Miss Teen Excellency South Africa at the Victory Theatre in Johannesburg in September 2024—where she will compete on a grander stage with contestants from across South Africa.

Her commitment to community service and outreach is as strong as her pageant success.

Her dedication extends beyond pageantry; she is actively seeking sponsors to support her outreach efforts.

Sponsors can contribute clothes, food parcels, or kiddie books and novels for adults. Zona’s early dedication to leadership and community involvement underscores her promising future.
