A memorial tombstone was unveiled on the Helpmekaar Road, Ntshele area, today (August 22).
This was in memory of the eight victims belonging to the Thwala and Thusi families, who were ambushed and killed on June 17.

The Ayanda Msweli Foundation, in partnership with Alfred Duma Local Municipality, erected the plaque with the aim of spreading awareness and also to bring closure to the affected families.
The tombstone was sponsored by Usizo Tombstones from Greytown.
Councillors, community members, religious leaders and members of different faith-based organisations were present.
