Police warn of old ad circulating on social media

The public is encouraged to visit the SAPS website and official social media platforms to stay informed of advertised posts

The South African Police Service (SAPS) says it has received numerous enquiries regarding an old advertisement that is currently circulating on social media platforms regarding the recruitment of 10,000 entry-level police trainees for the 2024/2025 intake.
This particular application process already closed on August 31, 2023. The first batch of 4500 trainees for the 2024/2025 intake have already embarked on training at various police academies across the country.
The second batch of 5500 recruits will commence with training in January 2025; this process is yet to be finalised.
Community members are encouraged to visit the SAPS website and official social media platforms to stay informed of advertised posts.
