Two trucks collided on the N3 near Midway on Tuesday morning (July 2). One of the trucks was carrying a load of paint and the other was transporting oranges.
The left lane was literally ‘painted white’ after the crash, as paint spilled all over the highway.

According to an official at the scene, the accident was a rear-end collision between two trucks travelling towards Durban.
The driver of the truck at the rear was rushed to hospital for treatment after being stabilised by paramedics.
Police made sure that traffic moved slowly and cautiously past the scene.
