NPO makes a difference in the community

The principal and little ones are happy about the donations

The Mthombeni Foundation recently visited Angel Faces Crèche in St Chad’s.

The reason for the visit was to donate loaves of bread to the children. Angel Faces is one of the crèches not funded by the Department of Education.

“Due to the fact that the school is not funded, we, as the Mthombeni Foundation, decided to donate to them in order for the children to be able to get breakfast when they arrive at school. Some of the learners come from disadvantaged backgrounds, where there is no money for breakfast at home.

“We will always try and help in order to make a difference for the betterment of the future of these children. Our aim is to encourage children to go to school in comfortable circumstances,” said Mzee Duma from Mthombeni.
