A concerned business owner said the leaks are not new and they have been reporting the situation to uThukela for a while now.
The road surface is damaged and as a result, potholes have formed, causing even more problems.

Motorists are forced to swerve into the lane for oncoming traffic to avoid the potholes, many of which are filled with water.
