Motorists escape injuries in morning collision
No serious injuries were reported in a collision between two vehicles at the Hardwick Street/Murchison Street intersection.
Two vehicles collided at around 10:30 this Thursday morning (June 13).
According to sources at the scene, one vehicle knocked over the traffic light, causing considerable damage to the car.
Both drivers escaped serious injuries.
To be on the safe side, a child who was a passenger in one of the vehicles was assessed by emergency medical personnel.
Officials acted swiftly to clear debris and restore the normal flow of traffic.
