Handing out water to the community

Community member Rakhee ‘Tilly’ Meyer was seen out and about yesterday (June 12), handing out water in Limit Hill and other areas.

“We are so thankful to the Gift of the Givers for allowing us to move around with their water tankers to assist in handing out water to the affected communities,” said Meyer.

This morning (June 13), residents in Acaciavale, Aloe Park, Hillside and Smartiesville woke up to dry taps once again. Meyer said it’s sad that no water tankers are sent out by uThukela.
